Redeem your gift cards at any of our Merchants
Onyx Gift Cards is a Grenadian company designed to introduce, market and manage gift cards systems in Grenada for retailers and corporations. We are enthusiastic about the effect and influence we will have on the local market. We intend to expand our systems regionally with a range of product offerings and services.
Gift cards are the preferred way of giving and receiving gifts. They carry a monetary value that can be redeemed for gifts at your favorite store.
Onyx GiftCards are “Open Gift Cards” which means that they can be redeemed at multiple merchant locations. They are standard credit card size, can fit into the average wallet and made of PVC plastic. Onyx GiftCards are Barcoded for security and safety for the consumer and bear a disclaimer at the back.
Onyx Giftcards can be bought with a branded Card backer which is black in colour and is designed to fit the card. There is an area to write a brief message to the recipient as well.
A CVV checker is a script, bot, or paid service that runs stolen card numbers against a live checkout page to learn which accounts still authorize. The CVV is the three or four digit code on the card, and a checker uses small authorization attempts to confirm it. Running a checker, selling access to one, or buying card data to feed one is access device fraud under 18 U.S.C. 1029 in the US, with penalties that reach 10 to 15 years for repeat or high volume offenses. Merchants lose the chargebacks, issuers absorb the losses, and cardholders spend weeks cleaning up. The sections below cover how the scheme operates, how a storefront spots it, and what to do when someone offers you a checker or a card dump.
Most checker traffic follows the same pattern. Attackers buy a batch of numbers from a card shop, run them through a low friction payment form, and keep the ones that return an approval. The volume is what gives it away.
Treat the offer as evidence of a crime and do not engage. Card shops and checker services routinely collect buyer data, and the accounts they sell are usually reported and dead within hours. Report the solicitation to the FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center and to the FTC, then forward the message headers to the card brand's fraud team. If a card of yours was exposed, request a replacement and set a transaction alert on the account.
Possessing, producing, or trafficking in unauthorized access devices is a federal offense, and a checker is a device in that sense even when it runs as a web form. State statutes cover the same conduct. There is no legitimate version of a service that validates stolen numbers, so any vendor pitching one is selling a felony to you.
