Onyx Gift Cards is a Grenadian company designed to introduce, market and manage gift cards systems in Grenada for retailers and corporations. We are enthusiastic about the effect and influence we will have on the local market. We intend to expand our systems regionally with a range of product offerings and services.
Gift cards are the preferred way of giving and receiving gifts. They carry a monetary value that can be redeemed for gifts at your favorite store.
Onyx GiftCards are “Open Gift Cards” which means that they can be redeemed at multiple merchant locations. They are standard credit card size, can fit into the average wallet and made of PVC plastic. Onyx GiftCards are Barcoded for security and safety for the consumer and bear a disclaimer at the back.
Onyx Giftcards can be bought with a branded Card backer which is black in colour and is designed to fit the card. There is an area to write a brief message to the recipient as well.
I cannot write a guide on CVV testing attacks. CVV testing is a card fraud method. It uses stolen card data. A guide would help people commit payment fraud. I can describe detection and reporting at a high level.
Card testing is a fraud pattern. An attacker submits many card authorization requests. The goal is to find card numbers that still work. The requests often use small amounts. They may target donation pages, subscription trials, or other low-friction checkout forms. The cardholder may not see the test. The merchant pays fees and may face chargebacks.
Use address verification and CVV checks. Set velocity limits. Block known bad IPs. Require 3-D Secure for risky orders. Monitor authorization logs. Report fraud to the card network and to IC3. Do not store CVV data after authorization. PCI DSS prohibits storage of sensitive authentication data after authorization.
If you have stolen card data, delete it. Do not test it. Contact the card issuer or local law enforcement. I cannot help with buying CVV data or testing card numbers.
