ABOUT US

about

What is ONYX GiftCards?

Onyx Gift Cards is a Grenadian company designed to introduce, market and manage gift cards systems in Grenada for retailers and corporations. We are enthusiastic about the effect and influence we will have on the local market. We intend to expand our systems regionally with a range of product offerings and services.

What is a Gift Card?

Gift cards are the preferred way of giving and receiving gifts. They carry a monetary value that can be redeemed for gifts at your favorite store.
Onyx GiftCards are “Open Gift Cards” which means that they can be redeemed at multiple merchant locations. They are standard credit card size, can fit into the average wallet and made of PVC plastic. Onyx GiftCards are Barcoded for security and safety for the consumer and bear a disclaimer at the back.
Onyx Giftcards can be bought with a branded Card backer which is black in colour and is designed to fit the card. There is an area to write a brief message to the recipient as well.

How it Works?

  • Buy an Onyx Gift Card at these local stores
  • Give your gift card to friends, family, co-workers, etc.
  • The recipient can shop at our select merchants nationwide
  • Your friends, family, co-workers, etc. will present their gift card at checkout to pay for your item(s)
  • They will walk away happy with the best gift ever...the gift of Choice

Why ONYX GiftCards?

  • Save TIME. No need to run around looking for the perfect gift
  • Redeem from a variety of business island-wide. We will continue adding businesses as fast as ONYX grows.
  • ONYX Gift Cards do not expire
  • Cards are valued at convinient amounts to meet every need and occasion

A CVV 2026 test card is a placeholder card number paired with a fake CVV and a future expiry year, issued by a payment processor so developers can test checkout flows without touching real card data. It works only inside that processor's sandbox or test mode, and a live payment network will reject it. The "2026" is just an expiry year that keeps the test credentials from looking expired.

What the CVV part means

The CVV (card verification value) is the three-digit code on the back of most cards, or the four-digit code on the front of an American Express card. Processors use it as one more check that whoever is entering the card number has the physical card in hand. In test mode, the CVV field turns into a switch: some processors accept any three digits, while others map specific values to specific outcomes such as a CVV mismatch decline.

Why "2026" shows up in the name

Test card numbers ship with a fixed expiry date, and when that date gets close, developers start searching for a version that still works. The year in the name is cosmetic. A test card labeled 2025 and one labeled 2026 behave the same way as long as your processor still lists the number as valid. Any site presenting "2026" as a new product category is dressing up a documentation update.

Where test card numbers come from

Pull the numbers from your own processor's current documentation. A number copied from an old blog post may have been retired, and a mismatch will send you chasing a bug that does not exist.

How to test a CVV flow step by step

  1. Switch your integration to test mode and confirm you are loading test API keys, not live keys.
  2. Enter the test card number exactly as your processor documents it.
  3. Use a future expiry, such as 12/2026 or later.
  4. Enter the CVV value documented for a success case.
  5. Trigger a decline on purpose with the mismatch value, then verify your checkout shows a clear, non-blaming message.
  6. Confirm no test records leaked into production reporting or your analytics.

Outcomes you can simulate

Testing the failure paths matters more than testing the happy path. Most support tickets come from a decline that gave the customer no useful next step.

Test cards are not real card data

This is the line that matters. A sandbox test card is a public string of digits with no account behind it. A real CVV belongs to a cardholder, and PCI DSS classifies the CVV as sensitive authentication data that a merchant must never store after authorization. Buying, selling, or trading real card numbers and CVVs is card fraud in the US and most other jurisdictions. Sites that advertise real CVVs are running a scam, collecting payment for data they cannot deliver, or building evidence for a prosecution. No legitimate processor sells card data.

Checklist before you ship

Run through that list once per release cycle. A CVV 2026 test card is a testing convenience, and treating it as anything more than that is where teams get into trouble.
