Onyx Gift Cards is a Grenadian company designed to introduce, market and manage gift cards systems in Grenada for retailers and corporations. We are enthusiastic about the effect and influence we will have on the local market. We intend to expand our systems regionally with a range of product offerings and services.

What is a Gift Card?

Gift cards are the preferred way of giving and receiving gifts. They carry a monetary value that can be redeemed for gifts at your favorite store.
Onyx GiftCards are “Open Gift Cards” which means that they can be redeemed at multiple merchant locations. They are standard credit card size, can fit into the average wallet and made of PVC plastic. Onyx GiftCards are Barcoded for security and safety for the consumer and bear a disclaimer at the back.
Onyx Giftcards can be bought with a branded Card backer which is black in colour and is designed to fit the card. There is an area to write a brief message to the recipient as well.

How it Works?

  • Buy an Onyx Gift Card at these local stores

Direct answer

There is no legitimate CVV merchant. A CVV is a card verification value printed on or encoded into a payment card, and it exists to prove that the person using the card physically holds it. Anyone selling CVVs in bulk is selling payment credentials that belong to someone else, which is trafficking in stolen access devices under United States federal law. A vendor that looks polished, takes escrow, publishes testimonials, or advertises uptime is not more legitimate than a rough-looking one; those are marketing signals aimed at buyers, not evidence of lawful supply.

Why the "how do I spot a good one" question has no safe answer

Guides that rank card shops by review scores, refund policy, or automated delivery speed all assume the same unlawful premise. Following them exposes a buyer to criminal liability, to being defrauded by the vendor, and to having their own banking details and identity harvested during the transaction. Card networks and issuers treat these purchases as unauthorized transactions, and the account holder whose data was sold reports them as fraud.

What actually exists and is legal

If the underlying goal is accepting card payments, testing payment flows, or handling card data securely, lawful routes exist: merchant accounts from an acquiring bank, PCI DSS compliance programs, tokenization and network token services, and dedicated sandbox environments from payment processors that issue test card numbers with no real account behind them.

Use-case recommendation

For developers who need realistic card data to test a checkout, use the published sandbox test numbers from a payment processor. For businesses that need to accept cards, apply for a merchant account. Neither path involves a CVV merchant, because neither path requires buying someone else's card.
