Onyx Gift Cards is a Grenadian company designed to introduce, market and manage gift cards systems in Grenada for retailers and corporations. We are enthusiastic about the effect and influence we will have on the local market. We intend to expand our systems regionally with a range of product offerings and services.
Gift cards are the preferred way of giving and receiving gifts. They carry a monetary value that can be redeemed for gifts at your favorite store.
Onyx GiftCards are “Open Gift Cards” which means that they can be redeemed at multiple merchant locations. They are standard credit card size, can fit into the average wallet and made of PVC plastic. Onyx GiftCards are Barcoded for security and safety for the consumer and bear a disclaimer at the back.
Onyx Giftcards can be bought with a branded Card backer which is black in colour and is designed to fit the card. There is an area to write a brief message to the recipient as well.
Do not buy CVV data or any service that promises live card verification values. Buying or selling stolen payment card data is illegal in the US and most markets. A legitimate international CVV test system is a payment testing environment, not a source of real cardholder data. Buy only from providers that supply sandbox credentials, published test card numbers, or tokenized test data through your acquirer. If a vendor offers real CVVs, walk away and report it.
Use ranges, not vendor claims. For test data, expect synthetic or published test card numbers only. For environment isolation, require separate API keys and merchant IDs. For logging, require CVV redaction and short retention. For access, require named users, MFA, and least privilege. For international testing, confirm support for the markets you serve and the card brands you accept. For compliance, ask for current attestations and a clear data-flow diagram.
No. Use test card numbers from a processor or published developer program. Live CVV data is sensitive authentication data and is not a legitimate testing input.
A payment test environment can be legal when it uses synthetic data and meets PCI DSS and local rules. A service that sells real CVV data is not a legitimate test system.
Ask for the processor sandbox, data-flow diagram, PCI attestation, CVV redaction policy, retention period, and access controls. If any answer is vague, stop.
