Gift cards are the preferred way of giving and receiving gifts. They carry a monetary value that can be redeemed for gifts at your favorite store.
Onyx GiftCards are “Open Gift Cards” which means that they can be redeemed at multiple merchant locations. They are standard credit card size, can fit into the average wallet and made of PVC plastic. Onyx GiftCards are Barcoded for security and safety for the consumer and bear a disclaimer at the back.
Onyx Giftcards can be bought with a branded Card backer which is black in colour and is designed to fit the card. There is an area to write a brief message to the recipient as well.
You cannot legitimately buy CVVs or run test transactions against real Mastercard card accounts. The correct buying advice is to not buy CVVs at all. Legitimate payment testing uses sandbox credentials issued by a payment processor, plus test card numbers published for development. Real card data, including the card verification value, belongs only in a compliant production flow and must not be stored after authorization.
Use a sandbox account from your payment processor or acquirer. These environments are built for development and certification testing. They provide test API keys, documented test card numbers, and expected response codes. You do not need a real CVV, a real cardholder account, or a vendor that sells card data.
Published test cards let you simulate approvals, declines, and risk responses. Use only the test values from the processor that owns your integration. Do not mix test data with live endpoints. Do not use card generators or lists from unknown sources.
