Onyx Gift Cards is a Grenadian company designed to introduce, market and manage gift cards systems in Grenada for retailers and corporations. We are enthusiastic about the effect and influence we will have on the local market. We intend to expand our systems regionally with a range of product offerings and services.
Gift cards are the preferred way of giving and receiving gifts. They carry a monetary value that can be redeemed for gifts at your favorite store.
Onyx GiftCards are “Open Gift Cards” which means that they can be redeemed at multiple merchant locations. They are standard credit card size, can fit into the average wallet and made of PVC plastic. Onyx GiftCards are Barcoded for security and safety for the consumer and bear a disclaimer at the back.
Onyx Giftcards can be bought with a branded Card backer which is black in colour and is designed to fit the card. There is an area to write a brief message to the recipient as well.
I cannot write a buying guide for CVV data or for carrying out a card testing refund scam. Those activities are illegal in the United States and most other countries. Card testing involves using stolen card numbers to make small purchases or test whether the cards work. Refund scams then abuse merchant refund processes to move money. Both are forms of payment fraud. They can lead to criminal charges, civil liability, and financial loss for victims. They also violate the terms of every major card network and payment processor. As a result, I will not help anyone buy, sell, or use stolen card data.
If you run an online store, you can reduce your exposure to card testing and refund fraud. Use address verification and card verification value checks. Set velocity limits on orders from the same IP address, device, or card. Watch for many small orders followed by refund requests. Require 3D Secure for high-risk transactions. Train support staff to spot social engineering. Keep logs and report suspicious activity to your acquirer and to the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center. Consumers should review statements, enable transaction alerts, and report unauthorized charges to their bank quickly.
Legitimate resources include the FTC's advice on payment scams, the PCI Security Standards Council's guidance on card testing, and the FBI's IC3 reporting system. These sources explain how fraud works and how to stop it. They do not teach how to commit it. If you need help with fraud prevention for your business, consult a qualified payments professional or your acquiring bank.
