Redeem your gift cards at any of our Merchants
Onyx Gift Cards is a Grenadian company designed to introduce, market and manage gift cards systems in Grenada for retailers and corporations. We are enthusiastic about the effect and influence we will have on the local market. We intend to expand our systems regionally with a range of product offerings and services.
Gift cards are the preferred way of giving and receiving gifts. They carry a monetary value that can be redeemed for gifts at your favorite store.
Onyx GiftCards are “Open Gift Cards” which means that they can be redeemed at multiple merchant locations. They are standard credit card size, can fit into the average wallet and made of PVC plastic. Onyx GiftCards are Barcoded for security and safety for the consumer and bear a disclaimer at the back.
Onyx Giftcards can be bought with a branded Card backer which is black in colour and is designed to fit the card. There is an area to write a brief message to the recipient as well.
Braintree test card numbers are fixed sandbox values that simulate a card payment without touching a real account. They authorize only when the request goes to Braintree's sandbox with sandbox API credentials. Sent to production, the same numbers fail.
The sandbox runs the full payment flow: client token creation, card validation, 3D Secure steps, authorization, and settlement simulation. A test card returns a canned response instead of reaching an issuer. That lets you assert on the transaction result object, exercise decline paths, and check what your interface shows when a card is rejected.
These values appear in Braintree's testing documentation. Check them against the current docs before you hardcode them into a suite.
The sandbox accepts documented transaction amounts that return specific processor responses, so you can test a decline while using a number that normally approves. Look up the current amount to response table in the testing docs, then map each amount to one assertion in your suite.
Never paste a live card number into a sandbox form or a test fixture. Sandbox numbers belong in fixtures. Live card data belongs with your processor, and logging full numbers in either environment breaks PCI DSS requirements.
